About Little Treasures
Little Treasures was opened in 2003 and is a family owned small business. We believe that every child is a capable and confident learner from birth, with the ability to be resilient, independent and self-assured.
Children thrive when they feel safe, secure and valued. We support this by building strong, nurturing relationships with both families and key persons within our Nursery.
We recognise that the environment plays a vital role in supporting and enriching children’s learning and development, offering opportunities to explore, discover and grow.
We understand that every child is unique. Children develop and learn in different ways and at their own pace and we value all areas of learning and development equally.
Learning Through Play
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the Development Matters curriculum, which our staff use as they support children during their play through in the moment planning which is a child led approach to teaching and learning, based on what a child is doing, saying, showing or interested in. Your child’s key person will provide fun and stimulating activities around individual children’s interests, to ensure they reach their full potential in all areas of learning.
