Here at Little Treasures Nursery, all children take part in Alder Hey’s “All Together Smiling” supervised toothbrushing scheme to help promote good oral health and keep children’s teeth healthy. Our staff are fully trained to support toothbrushing throughout the nursery. Each child is given their own toothbrush for nursery and a toothbrush to take home to help continue good brushing routines with parents and carers. Families also receive information to support healthy toothbrushing habits at home. We make toothbrushing fun and engaging by singing songs and brushing together as a group. The scheme aims to encourage lifelong healthy habits, reduce tooth decay and support children’s overall health and wellbeing.
